This is a nice, casual Asian-run restaurant with a dog-friendly patio. We came by after taking the dogs for a walk at Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline. I had the egg salad sandwich, which was pretty good. My husband had 1/2 turkey sandwich and chicken won ton soup with a cold matcha latte, which he enjoyed. We shared an order of 2 spring rolls, and they were good-sized. You order the food at the counter, and pick it up yourself when it is ready; they give you an estimate of how long it will be. The employees were helpful and friendly.

Was craving a breakfast sandwich so decided to come here. I got an egg, ham, and cheese breakfast croissant, and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Everything was great! The woman there was cheerful and pleasant, even though it was half an hour before closing time. The smallish place was quiet, clean and welcoming. I sat out on the patio to enjoy the sun and my food. Bonus: they have free Wi-Fi! Sorry, no pics.

Love this place. Breakfast bagels are really good. They season the eggs (many places dont) so it makes it all that more delicious. Friendly staff. Ice white mochas and their coffee is delicious. Customer service is great, just read some reviews that try to besmirch the owners character, but they've been nothing but kind to me and my wife and really accommodating. Sometimes people have no self awareness and make everyone out to be the villain in their story. Thats all to say, try it and judge for yourself. Great food. Great place. Awesome people.

Stopped by this small cafe in the middle of the afternoon for a chai tea. This place wasn't too busy and the drinks were decent. I'll have to come back to try the food. I think the only downside is parking. It's difficult finding parking in the area when it gets very busy,

I absolutely adore this place! Very mom and pop feel. i love the outside patio area, they were so nice about moving tables to let us sit in the shade when the sun was still covering a lot of the area. i especially love how big the menu is, everything we have tried so far was amazing from the coffee, smoothies, spring rolls, Saigon salad, sandwiches and pastries. The owner was extremely kind and generous to our group, me and my friends are definitely coming back.

My friend and I tried the banh mi lunch special. I had the original pork banh mi, and my friend had the grilled pork banh mi. Each sandwhich came with chips and iced tea/coffee. Our sandwiches were delicious, and best of all, our meal was each under $10!

Love this place! It is so homey and I love places that are not chain restaurants. The prices are so reasonable here too and the food is really tasty. I come here often for their breakfast specials and I also enjoy their spring rolls.

What an absolute GEM! I'm so happy I found this lovely mom and pop shop. FOOD - amazing! They have fresh bread delivered every morning to make their sandwiches. Their sandwiches have a generous amount of meat and veggies in them, and the bread is always toasted right before being served. DELICIOUS. And such an amazing price for the quality of the food! Can't beat that! They also have good lunch deals that include chips and a drink :) SERVICE - fantastic. They are so sweet!!! They pick up all of their phone calls, and will walk with you to make sure they understand your order precisely. Fast, accurate, and efficient. CATERING - I highly recommend catering for bigger parties. They are on time, efficient, and will follow up with you to see how you enjoyed the food. I ordered for 40 people and they separated and labeled each sandwich so it was easy to serve to my guests. LOCATION - convenient and close to walkable areas! Enjoy your sandwich and a drink! Café Sorriso 1501 Washington Ave San Leandro, CA 94577 (510) 351-3605 September 09, 2023. I love having "Me" breakfast time. A break from my dogs and before I start my weekend mornings of errands and to do's. Standard coffee. I ordered egg, ham sandwich everything on its bagel. It was delicious, fairly amount of eggs and ham. I noticed when a couple came in with their kid, she stopped midway of making the sandwich and proceed to take their orders, then proceeded to make their specialty coffees. Granted I saw that my sandwich was 99.9% percent done and all it needed was to pop in the toaster oven. But I guess regular customer gets preferences and priorities. I asked her if there is a time policy regarding customers and working at the café. "Two hours and you must order drink and foods." OK! Like I was just going to go to the café and use their resources and not order anything? One of the coffee carafes was low on coffee and only spurting coffee here and there. The Dark Roasted coffee carafe. I walked back to the counter and let her know, her reply was use the other coffee, she may not make it for another 10 minutes. There were only 3 people in the café, and she could have the time to check it if it still full or empty? And I did not want nor to drink the medium blend coffee. If this is the case, I would take my own coffee next time and just order off the food menu. Even if it's a coffee gas station style, please at least make sure it is clean, fully restock and coffee full. They have a small parking lot but otherwise pay n park. Not a big deal to me. Outside patio seating areas with outdoor heater if needed for those cold fall and winter mornings. Yes! I will come back; I believe in supporting local businesses. They do have an aesthetically pleasing set up. **ADVISE: Treat your customers equally-whether they are your regulars or non. I am still a paying customer and would like to support your local business and recommend it as well.
